From its destination restaurant and intimate speakeasy-style jazz club to thirteen individually curated suites, a boutique demi-spa, and landmark rooftop Spitfire Bar, every element has been designed to create an exceptional guest experience.

Dining and entertainment
The ground floor of the hotel is its spiritual hub, from an open-plan reception and lobby area to speakeasy-style jazz bar and inside/ outside fine dining restaurant.
The ground floor fine dining restaurant with eye-catching glass ceiling has capacity for 50 diners. An adjacent private dining area offers seating to 10 diners.
An attractive outside dining and bar area has seasonal capacity for 30 people as well as offering ample space for private events.
Ella’s Bar with small stage for live performances is a speak-easy style venue with capacity for 30 people year-round.
Spitfire Rooftop Bar
During World War Two, after the main Supermarine factory in Southampton was bombed, production of over 2,000 Spitfires was moved to Salisbury.
Hundreds of local civilians built the aircraft in hidden locations such as garages and bus depots across the city.
In an ode to the city’s very personal relationship with this aircraft, the Spitfire Rooftop Bar is the centrepiece of the Cathedral Hotel.
The first and only venue of its type in the city, the Spitfire Bar will offer both indoor and outdoor seating with a glazed, glass pavilion allowing views from Old Sarum to Salisbury Cathedral.

The thirteen suites at the Cathedral Hotel range in size from 29 m² to an exceptional 72 m² suite. All are individually designed and materially larger than standard hotel rooms, sitting firmly in the luxury boutique category rather than conventional hotel stock.
luxurious demi spa
A two-room spa facility on the third floor offers a quiet retreat within the hotel, with two treatment beds set within calm, considered surroundings.
Designed as an extension of the wider guest experience, the space brings a genuine wellness offering to the boutique hotel rather than an afterthought.
It will be available to hotel guests and open to external visitors, extending The Cathedral Hotel's presence beyond those staying on site.
